Analysis of Complex Fluid Flow Test Cases with OpenFOAM

Abstract
This paper presents the assessment of the credibility of modelling and simulation of the open source flow solver OpenFOAM in the context of Computational Fluid Dynamics. For the process of verification and validation three standard test cases of laminar flows have been selected and solved. Grid convergence studies have been performed and the obtained results have been compared against experimental and numerical results found in the literature.
