Abstract
To date, document clustering by genresor authors has been performed mostly bymeans of stylometric and content features. With the premise that novels are societiesin miniature, we build social networksfrom novels as a strategy to quantify theirplot and structure. From each social net-work, we extract a vector of features whichcharacterizes the novel. We perform clus-tering over the vectors obtained, and theresulting groups are contrasted in terms ofauthor and genre.
