Towards a conceptual reference model for project management information systems

The article presents a reference model for project management information systems (RefModPM). The model covers the project life-cycle phases from the project initiation to the termination and includes the relevant project management stakeholders. The article explains how RefModPM has been constructed and evaluated in several research cycles and presents one exemplary part of the reference model in detail.
