It was also carried out the case study of Malaria disease at Rajkot district, Gujarat, India. The present report presents the year wise distribution of malaria cases, clinical presentation of the patients and the treatment modality used during the year 2010-2011. The study also looked at the number of patients presenting with malaria parasite, Plasmodium falciperum and Plasmodium vivex, those are the malarial parasite. All patients who attended the hospital for Malaria disease were considered as the total number of patients during the study period.Malaria is a serious public health problem in many parts of the world. One-fifth of the world's population is at risk of malaria.
