Towards Self-Tests in Distributed Cyber-Physical Systems

Abstract
Within the industry 4.0 context and growing home and industrial automatisation in general, we expect cyber-physical systems to grow both in number and applied scenarios. Many of these scenarios are bound to have security aspects which need to be considered. In this article, we describe the next step in our research, which is performing self-tests within a distributed cyber-physical system to detect components compromised by an attacker.
