Synchronization Contexts as a Means to Support Collaborative Modeling
N. Pinkwart. Proceedings of the international Workshop on Groupware (CRIWG 2005), page 145-152. Berlin, Germany, Springer, (2005)
Abstract
This paper presents a conceptual approach and a corresponding system implementation to support collaborative modeling with graph based representations. In particular, the problem of partially shared models with associated semantics is addressed, and an architectural solution to enable flexible modes of partial application synchronization under the constraint of retaining a common semantics in the shared model parts is presented. The synchronization functions of the Cool Modes system, which is built on this architecture, are discussed.
