Abstract
Two fractal models for determination of the effective thermal conductivity
of bidispersed porous media are developed based on the fractal theory
and electrical analogy technique. The theoretical predictions from
the proposed fractal thermal conductivity models are compared with
those from the previous lumped-parameter model and from experimental
data. The results from the proposed fractal models are shown to be
in good agreement with both the lumped-parameter model and the experimental
data.
