CJOT, 40 (4): 177--181 (1973)

Abstract

no abstract (" The therapist, therefore, must act as a liaison between the child, his parents and the other professional members of the treatment team. She must assess his needs, abilities & functional losses & interpret these in terms of improvement of function through therapy & the use of technical devices. She must prepare the child physically, functionally & emotionally for the introduction of the device. It is her responsibility to teach the child to use it, & to evaluate the device in terms of whether or not it fulfill his needs.")
