Abstract
Drooling is a major problem in patients with cerebral palsy and various other neurological dysfunctions. Submandibular duct transposition for uncontrolled drooling is a technically straight forward operation. It has proved to be a safe procedure with low morbidity and a high rate of success. The authors review the literature, and present a material consisting of 21 patients from the University Hospital, Bergen, and Central Hospital, Rogaland.
