Abstract
We have investigated the behavior of the PbZr0.94Ti0.06O3 Raman spectra
as a function of hydrostatic pressure. New structural phases were
identified based on previous works performed in a PZT system with
different Ti concentrations at room and high pressures. We showed that
PbZr0.94Ti0.06O3 exhibits a rich phase sequence up to 3.7 GPa:
rhombohedral(LT) ((0.3 Gpa)) under right arrow orthorhombic(I) ((2.9
Gpa)) under right arrow orthorhombic(I'). This sequence is different
from that exhibited by PbZr0.90Ti0.10O3, suggesting an interesting
concentration-pressure phase diagram for a rich Zr PZT system. (C) 1999
