The population is growing and life is getting more difficult for the citizens. Nigeria is rich in renewable energy sources, such as solar, biomass, thermal, wind, geothermal, tidal, hydro, biogas, wave, and ocean energy. However, less than 25% of the renewable energy potentials have been utilized. A critical investment in a renewable energy sector will not only solve electricity related problems but also help to achieve social-economy development in the country. In addition, renewable energy projects will help to provide jobs for the youth and create new investment opportunities for the people.
