This is particularly evident in multilingual contexts, such as European institutions and international organisations. This paper is intended to show how the phenomenon of globalisation and legal harmonisation, in multilingual settings, affects the creation of new texts in that they are becoming more and more hybrid and stardardised. We have taken as examples texts from different legal cultures, such as those coming from Spain, United Kingdom and the European Union.
