To achieve this objective many approaches have been attempted based on the knowledge of the process steps used to develop the dataset together with the related errors. The approach to estimate the positional accuracy of the cadastral dataset derived from the digital cadastral land maps were reviewed. Then positional data was collected by the aid of GNSS to coordinate the cadastral maps and to apply the geo references process to fit it with the previous Khartoum aerial photography mapping.
