The objective of this article is to discuss the effectiveness of teaching different types of writing in English classes. This will help students to understand the meaning of the things which they read essays, short stories, texts, novels and so on. In addition, by teaching the basic types of writing, students can write formal and informal letters, e-mails, invitations and essays on communicative needs. All processes of teaching writing motivate students to learn variety of techniques, express their ideas in writing.
