Abstract
Various cluster approximations are applied to the Ising spin glass in a field using the replica method close to the glass transition temperature. The spin glass order parameter function and the de Almeida-Thouless line are obtained and compared with those for the Sherrington-Kirkpatrick (SK) model. The slope of the order parameter function seems to become smaller as the cluster size becomes larger. The region of glassy phase in the temperature-field plane of the phase diagram for clusters without a loop is smaller than that for the SK model. Changes of the region for clusters with loops are more complicated.
