The present paper deals with about 173 plant species of 164 genera belonging to 80 families that have been recorded which are potentially used by the different tribal groups in this area. The tribal population of the region primarily depends upon these plants for curing 124 various diseases. Further studies on chemical and pharmacological actions are suggested to validate the claims.
