Abstract
Compared the behavior of 14 Betta splendens, 20 Lebistes reticulatus, and 10 Carassius auratus in response to their reflection in a mirror and the relative effectiveness of visual reinforcement and the threat display. Ss presented a special disposition to mirror stimulation and were capable of modifying their aggressive behavior.
