Developing Assessment Rubrics for PLA Courses

Abstract
The article focuses on the use of rubrics for performance assessment to increase student successes in Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) courses. PLA provides the students with the opportunities to earn credits for the knowledge they have gained outside a traditional classroom. A rubric is an established management system of a series of descriptors referring to a single criterion and arranged in a descending scale used in performance assessment.
