In this work, we compare two automats: Alinity ci ® and Architect ci-8200® Abbott, to show the results of the protocol of verification of the method of determination of aspartate aminotransferase (AST). Aspartate aminotransferase is an enzyme found in many tissues, particularly liver and muscle, including heart muscle. Its measurement is particularly useful for diagnosing and monitoring liver disease.
