Zwei Monate mussten "Penthouse"-Fans auf die Lektüre des Männermagazins verzichten. Jetzt kommt der Titel mit einem völlig neuen Konzept an den Kiosk. Um den Titel im kriselnden deutschen Printmarkt zu etablieren, setzen Chefredakteur Markus Boden und der Art Director Pascal Mänder auf eine Premium-Strategie. "Printtitel müssen heutzutage einen hohen Qualitätsanspruch erfüllen, um zu überleben - das gilt sowohl für die Inhalte als auch für die Haptik", erläutert Boden im Gespräch mit HORIZONT.NET.
Der Internet-Werbemarkt knackt laut Online-Vermarkterkreis 2009 erstmals die Grenze von vier Milliarden Euro und läge damit vor den Publikumszeitschriften.
Jetzt soll zusammenwachsen, was zusammen gehört: Die Spiegel-Gruppe legt ihren Printanzeigenverkauf mit dem hauseigenen Online-Vermarkter Quality Channel (QC) zusammen. Chef der neuen Vermarktungssparte unter der Marke Spiegel QC ist Norbert Facklam, bisher Leiter Anzeigenmarketing des Print-"Spiegel". Unter ihm gibt es künftig drei Abteilungen.
Die Publikumszeitschriften werden ihre Anzeigenpreise 2010 brutto um meist 1 bis 3 Prozent erhöhen, je nach Titel-Performance. Das erfuhr HORIZONT aus Verlagskreisen. Obwohl die Mediaagenturen Preiserhöhungen traditionell verdammen, dürfte der Schritt diesmal im stillschweigenden Übereinkommen mit den Dienstleistern erfolgt sein.
