Tea dance takes patients for a trip down memory lane | RDaSH NHS Foundation Trust

Description

Live swing music, retro food and a good old fashioned knees-up was the order of the day at a 1940s inspired tea dance held for people experiencing memory problems in Balby.

Staff dressed up in vintage clothes and patients and carers enjoyed dancing and music of the era provided by local entertainer the ‘Singing Major’, before tucking into meal of corned beef hash at the event held by the Memory Therapy Complex Care Service, at Forest Gate Day Hospital on the Tickhill Road site of Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH).
