Free access. Recurrent UTI is a common problem in both elderly men and women. Until now there has been limited data, particularly in men, on which to guide practice for antibiotic prophylaxis. New observational data suggest antibiotic prophylaxis has an important place in both elderly men and women with recurrent UTI.
