The Bariatric Surgery service at County Hospital in Stafford has now completed 100 surgical procedures. This is an important milestone demonstrating the safety of the service since it began in December 2016, which will soon move to a new permanent seven bed unit at the hospital. The success of the department has resulted in it being approached to take patients from across the West Midlands and North West.
