Plans to support more people to receive health and social care in their homes and local communities looks set to be approved for Staffordshire.

NHS England has said it will approve Staffordshire’s Better Care Fund (BCF) subject to conditions on improving the rate of Delayed Transfers of Care from hospital further. The BCF plan spans both local authorities and the NHS and is aimed at pooling resources to join up care and help people live as independently as possible for as long possible in their homes.
