Dr Sokolov said: “Over the past few months we have been listening to patients, staff and clinicians to understand what is working well and what can be improved in community midwife-led services. We would like to thank everyone that has been involved in these workshops.

“Our review into community midwife-led services is in the early stages and no decisions have been made. The next steps will be for us to analyse this feedback, alongside our data, to develop a strategy for community midwife-led services. This will help inform us whether change is needed and what this could look like.
