A new service for 0-19 year olds in Cheshire West and Chester has been shortlisted in this year’s Childcare Works Award. The Starting Well 0-19 Service, which is provided by Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CWP) and commissioned by Cheshire West and Chester Council (CWaC), launched in January 2018 and brings together Health and Education into one integrated service. The Starting Well teams run from Children’s Centres and consist of Early Years Workers, My Well-being Advisors and other CWP Starting Well specialisms including: Health Visiting, Family Nurse Partnership, and Public Health Nursing (including immunisations and vaccinations) all working to support children, young people and families to maximise their life chances and support their health and wellbeing.
