Die Aktion dauerte weniger als eine Minute, nichts und niemand kam zu Schaden: Der "Pussy Riot"-Protest in einer Moskauer Kathedrale hätte allenfalls eine Geldstrafe gerechtfertigt, meint Stephan Laack. Mit dem Schuldspruch hat sich Russland international blamiert. Rechtsstaatlich war das Verfahren wohl kaum. Und die Urteilsbegründung setzte allem die Krone auf.
Jeder Russe, der mit einer internationalen Organisation zusammenarbeitet, kann künftig bis zu vier Jahre im Gefängnis landen - so regelt es das neue Gesetz über Hochverrat, das seit heute in Kraft ist. Das Gesetz zielt besonders auf Organisationen, die Wahlbetrug in Russland aufdeckten.
