In Spanien haben erneut Tausende Menschen gegen Massenarbeitslosigkeit und die Sparpolitik der Regierung protestiert. Es gebe "überhaupt keine Perspektive für eine bessere Zukunft", beklagten sie. An den Protesten beteiligten sich auch die Oppositionsparteien und zahlreiche Gewerkschaften.
Obwohl die Lage in Spanien zugespitzter ist, haben sich in Portugal mehr Menschen an den Streiks beteiligt, allerdings dürften Hunderttausende an den Demonstrationen in Madrid und Barcelona teilnehmen
