Im Guardian kam am Freitag ein Artikel mit „Pro-Tipps“ zum Recherchieren mit Google. Die beiden britischen Recherche-Koryphäen Karen Blakeman (@karenblakeman) und Phil Bradley (@philbradley) formulierten Ergänzungen und zum Teil Kritik.
Virtuelle Auskunft (Online-Auskunft) und eine Virtuelle Bibliothek (Linkdatenbank). An diesem Dienst beteiligen sich in Deutschland über 90 öffentliche und wissenschaftliche Bibliotheken.
Die Liste richtet sich in erster Linie an (Auskunfts-) Bibliothekare oder sonstige Informationsspezialisten. Sie soll weiterhelfen, wenn die eigenen Informationsmöglichkeiten (Bestand der Bibliothek, Internetrecherche etc.) versagen.
