Die Kopie dieses Google-Tricks ist das, was als Open Access zu beobachten ist: die großangelegte Digitalisierung wissenschaftlicher Veröffentlichungen unter Umgehung des Urheberrechts und der Wissenschaftsfreiheit, zum angeblichen Besten der Menschheit. Das müssen wir uns näher anschauen.
Nichtsdestotrotz könnte ein härteres Vorgehen der Agenturen die Nutzung von Zitaten schon beeinträchtigen. Auch wenn die Blogs dazu berechtigt sein mögen, Zitate zu benutzen, so müssen sie dieses Recht im Fall einer Unterlassungsforderung (z.B. Abmahnung bzw. Cease-and-Desist Letter) erst einmal erstreiten. Und ein Rechtsstreit mit einer kooperativ betriebenen Agentur, hinter der über 1.500 Tageszeitungen stehen, dürfte für keinen Blogger besonders reizvoll sein.
