Der Mikroblogging-Dienst Twitter ist jetzt auch in deutscher Sprache verfügbar. Ab sofort lautet die Eingangsfrage auf dem Portal "Was gibt's Neues?" Wie das Unternehmen aus San Francisco auf seinem Blog meldet, sei Deutsch die letzte Sprache, die im Jahr 2009 auf Twitter.com eingeführt wird. Damit will der Dienst neue Nutzer locken.
Die Zeitschrift �Beef!" erscheint ab Mai 2010 einmal pro Quartal. Das Food- und Lifestylemagazin für Männer war im Oktober 2009 erstmals bei Gruner + Jahr erschienen und konnte sich 53.000 mal verkaufen.

In Kooperation mit G+J Media Sales wird das Format "Video in Print Ad", bei dem Bewegtbildinhalte auf einem beigelegten LCD-Bildschirm im Magazin abgespielt werden, in der "Gala" eingesetzt.

Schlechte Nachrichten für die Zeitschriftenverleger: Laut einer Studie der Unternehmensberatung Booz & Company müssen sich die Zeitschriftenverlage auf weiter sinkende Verkaufszahlen einstellen.
