Die Profile deutscher Unternehmen bei Twitter sind besser als ihr Ruf. Auch bei den Unternehmen steht Dialog im Fokus. 51 Prozent der Tweets von Unternehmen wie Allianz, Daimler, Deutsche Bahn, Google, Lufthansa, RWE oder Tchibo behandeln dialogische Themen. 32 Prozent aller Unternehmens-Tweets distributieren Nachrichten und nur 17 Prozent Werbebotschaften werden verschickt.
Mehr als 20 Prozent der Führungskräfte von Unternehmen wissen nicht, was sich hinter dem Begriff Web 2.0 verbirgt. Fast 70 Prozent der Befragten geben zu, dass sie wenig über den Einsatz und die Möglichkeiten von Social Media wissen.

Befragt wurden leitende Angestellte, Vorstände, Geschäftsführer oder Firmeninhaber von insgesamt 350 Unternehmen.
