Vor Schiedsgerichten werden Staaten mitunter auf Milliarden verklagt. Die Verfahren leiten aber keine herkömmlichen Richter, sondern Anwälte. In der öffentlichen Diskussion wirken diese Schiedsgerichte wie kafkaeske Gebilde, die man etwa aus „Der Prozess“ kennt. Ist dieser Eindruck gerechtfertigt?
