Abstract

A holistic view of ePortfolios as a system shows different stakeholders. Within the environment exists teacher preparation programs as a subsystem that is composed of administration, faculty, technology support, and inservice teachers. This paper will focus on in service teachers who are stakeholders internal to teacher education programs. The results of this study highlight the first steps into integrating eportfolio for all stakeholders by expanding prior research that was done on preservice teachers’ perspectives on eportfolio design processes. More specifically, this will provide teacher education programs with significant information with respect to in service teachers’ needs and perspectives in order to create e-portfolios that are more meaningful to all involved parties.
