Some results are given for the thermal and hydraulic performance of corrugated channels in single phase flow. The flow pattern is analysed to give some local information on the heat transfer and the velocity field. In two phase flows, the heat transfer coefficient and the pressure drop are correlated with models originally developed for smooth tubes. Some recommendations are proposed for future research.
