Abstract

The problem of how to introduce meaning into computer systems so that these can have semantic interoperability; has been the main issue for the construction of Ontologies. Currently, procedures used for its Annotation is made by humans for building a Semantic Network and present conflicts on the consensus of concepts and their meanings. This paper presents and approach for the development of Ontologies through the Model of Natural Semantic Space, which is developed from knowledge elicitation techniques based on Natural Semantic Networks Theory, and that unlike a graph, allows describing and analyzing all relations among concepts. Networks of knowledge obtained from different groups of subjects are compared through quantitative methods and analyzed for consistency. The end result is a series of many concepts related through a matrix allowing direct annotation of an Ontology.
