This paper aims researched and developed a new protocol that prevents wormhole attacks on a ad hoc network. A few existing protocols detect wormhole attacks but they require highly specialized equipment not found on most wireless devices. This paper aims to develop a defense against wormhole attacks as an Anti-worm protocol which is based on responsive parameters, that does not require as a significant amount of specialized equipment, trick clock synchronization, no GPS dependencies.
