Information literacy : a bibliographic research

The present work aims at offering both to practitioners and scholars a bibliography considered to be useful forprogressingin practical applications as well as theoretical studies aboutinformation literacy conceptiononce pointed out some crucialcharacteristics and relationships.In the followinga general overview on the subject is preliminarily offered; after,some methodological notes summarize the steps of the work; furthermore,in two different tables are listed the institutional websites of the organizationsmostly engaged in the field and some other online sourcesaccessedalongthe searching process;finally,a bibliography of primary and secondary sources suitable to the scope is presented.
