Anforderungen und Lösungen für die Werkzeugmaschine im Umfeld von Integrated Industry: CNC-Steuerungen für Werkzeugmaschinen unterstützen heute eine Vielzahl an Kommunikationsprotokollen. Zur Anbindung der Steuerungen an HMI (Human Machine Interface)-, MES (Manufacturing Execution System)- und Engineering-Lösungen ist aber oft immer noch ein hoher Implementierungsaufwand notwendig. Eine Lösung dieser Problematik bietet die vorgeschlagene offene Kommunikationsplattform für CNC-Steuerungen basierend auf der Kommunikationstechnologie OPC UA (OLE for Process Control Unified Architecture). Diese schafft die Basis für eine transparente Werkzeugmaschine auf dem Weg zur vernetzten Fabrik. Open communication platform for CNC controls: Nowadays, several CNC controls for machine tools are available which support a wide range of communications protocols. However, still a big effort is required for the link between controls and supervisory systems, e.g. HMI, MES or Engineering-Systems. To encounter this problem an open communication platform for CNC controls-based on the communication technology OPC UA is introduced. This ensures the transparency of a machine tool to be prepared for connected manufacturing.
