We developed an educational application called Fancy Fruits to teach disabled children the components of regional fruits and vegetables. The app includes marker-based AR elements connecting the real situation with virtual information. To evaluate the application, a field study was conducted. Eleven children with mental disabilities took part in the study. The results show a high enjoyment of the participants. The study also validated the app's child-friendly design.
