In this paper we exploit spectral correlation of color images in the RGB space for lossless image coding. We propose a simple way to use this correlation in a predictive model by correcting the prediction in one band by means of the prediction error in the adjacent band. The experimental results show that this method gives a significant performance improvement over all the tested predictors.
