The transient nature of this posturing is not consistent with a static central nervous system deficit. It is felt that the Tourette syndrome symptomatology and pseudohemiparesis share a common pathophysiology. The inclusion of pseudohemiparesis in the differential diagnosis for cerebral palsy is suggested.
