By focusing on the Auto socialization aspect in an online context, it is possible to explain why online platforms e.g. Facebook, World of Warcraft are so successful in maintaining and increasing the numbers of stable audience and why other platforms, offering learning on a massive scale, (MOOC) facing dropout rates in the high 80 -90’s345.
