In this paper we present a novel program recommender for DVB-H based Mobile TV systems. It addresses the restriction of low
processing resources on the client devices and is fully compliant to the OMA BCAST standard. There is no learning phase includedand hence users can instantly start using the system. Based on the proposed, highly scalable architecture design we implementeda prototype application that employs a powerful, though minimal, mobile user interface.
