Talent management is a new avenue of Human Resources management which has inherited its advantages and enhanced its meaning. It defeats the flaws of the traditional, modular and distributed HRM, and offers a novel approach that is systematic and sustainable. In this paper we will look at talent management from a global viewpoint, discussing various factors that drive talent management solutions and theories on which these solutions may thrive. We will also throw light on the various activities involved in the theoretical and practical implementation of a talent management system
