Description

In this article, Conrad Waddington speculates on how certain characteristics brought about by environmental changes can be inherited. He theorizes that responses to environmental stimuli have a basis in the genes, and if they are favorable enough, can become part of the developmental pathways. Conrad Waddington was the scientist who codified the concept of epigenetics.
