Abstract

48 sexually mature male Siamese fighting fish (Betta splendens) were used. A table of effects of various drugs on Betta splendens, including a list of drugs and their classes, number of fish tested, concentration of the drug, onset of action in minutes, nature of the general action, whether or not the fighting response was exhibited, and the type of behavior displayed when confronted with normal fighting fish, is presented.
