Zusammenfassung

Survey and questionnaire design has been a primary source of data collection for Human-Computer Interaction application design. Within the HCI context, surveys are defined as compilations of questions that are implemented either via a computer or paper-and-pencil-based environment, that either have quantitative or qualitative scales, or are open-ended, and that target at extracting a variety of information from a representative sample of the target population (which is in most cases current or prospective users of an HCI system being evaluated).
