Zusammenfassung

We present experimental results for purely rotating curling rocks and show that these results are easily accounted for by 'wet' friction and cannot be explained in terms of 'dry' friction. We also list other observed motions of curling rocks that can be understood in terms of wet friction and not dry friction.
