Es geht darum (mit Hilfe eines Wahrscheinlichkeitsmodells) Naturereignisse mit Hilfe von Internet Nutzer (die als Sensoren dienen) zu ermitteln. Ein Naturphänomen ist z. B. die Anzahl von Tiere die jedes Jahr im Bayern von Autos überfahren werden(Fallstudie).
